Waxing and threading, no, I'm not talking about life in the 1800's with candle and clothes making, I'm talking about the two most popular ways to remove hair in 2020 (which were invented around 1150 BC).
Waxing: A process of removing unwanted hair from part of the body by applying wax and peeling off the wax and hairs together.
Threading: A method of hair removal in which unwanted hairs are plucked out by using a specific type of twisted cotton thread.
Waxing is good for removing the body hair. The skin on the body is thicker then that of the face. The epidermis ( the outer most layer of skin ) is composed of up to 7 layers and every time you wax, if done right, only a few of those layers are pulled off along with most of the hairs. ( If done wrong too many layers of skin are pulled off causing scarring. )
Threading is good for removing the face hair. The face, especially the eye area, is the most delicate skin with a thinner layer of fat under the skin and therefor more prone to scarring. Threading does not remove any skin and gets all those little hairs ( that waxing can't always get ) from the root without risk of scarring.
