First discovered in Asia, threading is a ancient hair removal technique.
To remove the hair from the brows the client closes their eyes and stretches the skin around the brows so that the hair is pulled out without nicking the skin. The threader then uses a special type of thread and technique to create a small lasso like shape to pull the hairs out from their roots. No heat or chemicals are used. Threading is great for all skin types but especially sensitive skin. Proper hygiene practice before and after is important to avoid pimples and irritation. Threading is more precise (gets hairs just above the skin surface) and last longer then waxing. Other common areas for threading are the face and neck.
